I got this video from Carol who is an ~AWESOME~ friend of mine. I never heard of Anita Renfroe, but she is so funny! She is a Christian Comic. We Christians need to laugh more often!!! I will now try to go see her performance!
I thought I would post some of her videos for you. Enjoy! Make sure you leave me some comments so I know what you all think! These are awesome!!!

Alabama....the pros and cons!
Well, I went to Alabama to look at homes, and see the area. The area is pretty big. It is almost like Lafayette and West Lafayette. Tuscaloosa is home to the University of Alabama. AJ's and Gabby's future Alma Mater? Who knows! I would like it to be Purdue...but either way would be fine.
Parts of me wants to move to Alabama today. I find my self in situations and conversations that want me to move as far away as I can. On the other hand, I don't want to leave some people.
Here is a pro and con list about Alabama.....this will be fun!

24 More Days Until Christmas!
Well...it's almost here. What you say? Christmas! The happiest time of the year.
We tend to forget the 'true' meaning of Christmas...with all of the hustle and bustle to find the right gift for everyone on our list. We try to fit all of the holiday parties into our schedule. And must we not forget about Santa and his reindeer!
This is the time of the year when 'true' colors come out. Oh yeah....I about got into it with some ladies over a parking place I was waiting on....and the other ladies where going the wrong way to pull into the spot...and I got there first...what the heck???? LOL...I got the spot...but I was very uncomfortable while doing my shopping.
This is the time of the year when the winter blues set in. It is hard enough when depression comes easy for me anyways.
This is the time of the year when everyone wants to see you. Sometimes I want to stay home, lock the doors, get in my comfy flannel pajamas and get warm under the blankets with a good Hallmark movie on. I don't even answer the phone..but that is normal I guess! LOL!
This is the time of the year when it rains, snows, and sleets. Then temperatures drop over night and it all turns into ice. We have to relearn how to drive on sheets of ice. Not my favorite thing to do!
This is the time of the year when husbands turn into scrooges and wives turn into mall rats! Not me....this is the first year I have done over 90% of my shopping over the internet! Technology is awesome!
Christmas is my favorite time of the year...but only for one day of the season. The rest of the season, you can hand me my flannel pajamas, a blanket, some prozac, some hot-chocolate with a shot of hot damn, a hallmark movie, and my computer...and I will be the happiest girl ever!
Oh yeah, shut my phone off and lock my door...I will see you in the spring! :0)

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We have some great news...maybe sad to some though! We will be moving to Alabama soon. My husband is transferring through his work. We will be going down next week to view the area and look for an apartment for him to stay in until we find a nice house to buy. We will take the kids down during Christmas Break. I know we will definitely go for one week...but maybe we will go for two. How do you let Santa know where to drop the presents off???
My husband will start his new job before the New Year. I am staying in Indiana until the kids get out of school in May. We will probably be here after baseball and soccer season though. We will be putting our house up for sale in January. If it sells before the kids are out of school, then we will definitely get an apartment for a few months.
This move will be a good move for us as a family. It will be a new beginning for us. There are a few family members and friends who I wish I could take with me. I wonder if I can buy a suitcase big enough to pack them in....lol!
It will really be good to get away!!! We hope to be transferred back to Indiana in a couple of years....for a better job of course! :-) Please keep us in your prayers!!!

Priorities in Today's Life!
You know....I have had some issues lately. These aren't my normal issues either. One issue I have is about priorities. We all have them and I guess we label each priority different. In today's lifestyle, we are all running around, taking our kids here and there, trying to get to appointments, going to extended family functions, and trying to make everyone happy. We don't know whether we are coming or going! Our tail is trying to catch up with our head!
Where does our priorities take us? Are we happy when we meet them? Are we happy when other's meet theirs? My priority may differ than someone else's priority....I guess.
When we have special occasions in our life, we expect family and friends to make 'our' day 'their' priority. And when those expectations don't get met, we tend to question their reasons. Then when the next special day comes, we may not invite them.
I know this is Satan working in my head, and it has been eating at my soul for a very long time. Over the weekend, I attended a Women's Retreat with my church. I had such a great time! The best thing though, is when I gave my issue to God! I am praying He takes this heartache away from me. I pray over time, He shows me the way to feel and to have more compassion for others who may have different priorities than mine. I feel very selfish over this hurt...but it is a feeling I just can't shake without the help from God!

Busy Days Equals a Busy Life!
Well we have gotten to a great start to school this year. We had to start off by taking Gabby to get her kindergarten shots. What a big girl she is! She didn't cry at all! After that we took her to get her ears pierced. She was so brave! I wanted to pierce her ears when she was a baby, but daddy wouldn't let me. He said that Gabby could get her ears pierced when she was old enough to make the decision. He also said no sooner than when she goes to kindergarten. When it was time, he said no...but guess what? I held him accountable for what he said the first time...lol!
Gabby started kindergarten last week. She is really enjoying it. This week will be the test though. Last week she went for only 2 days. This week she will have kindergarten everyday all day!
AJ is doing really well. He really likes his teachers. He will have homework and lots of reading each night. He is also playing football and has practice 2 nights a week! Then we will have games on Saturdays.
Wednesdays we will be having Awanas. AJ has really enjoyed Awanas. I am not sure how Gabby will do this year since she will be in the next level. She will have a lot of memorizing to do. However, football practice will be during part of Awanas...but that is ok...hopefully we will be able to do it all.
I want to put Gabby in either a dance, tumble, or cheer class. There isn't much for her to do. I didn't want to put her in soccer since it is an outside sport and we have trouble with her asthma mostly during this time of the year.
Right now the kids have lots going on and I just absolutely love it! I rather have busy bodies running around than lazy bodies!!! I could really use all of your prayers to keep my family going and most importantly keeping us together as family! I hate the day that we all start going our separate ways.
